The Chatham Club Offers “MOMMY & ME” Style Class
Have a new baby and looking to get out of the house?
The Chatham Club is offering Mama-lates - a “mommy & me” type class to members and non-members! This unique class combines Pilates and Barre fitness. The class is suitable for new moms & women in each trimester of their pregnancy.
The Mama-lates fusion of Pilates and Barre targets the areas most affected by pregnancy: the abdomen, hips, lower back, and weakened pelvic floor. Your baby is far more than a prop in this class. The exercises are specifically designed to help foster a child’s development in a safe and supportive environment on the mat or in their car seat.

The class is taught by Kate Hewson who began her involvement with Pilates in 2001. Kate received her Pilates Mat Certification through Power Pilates in NYC and her apparatus certification with Physical Mind Institute in NYC. She is a certified pre-and post-natal Pilates instructor through Bella Babies in Hoboken. Kate is a certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance. Teaching Pilates for over 10 years, she continues to expand her knowledge through continuing education courses.
